For contributors

Get paid to record everyday life.

Masana pays people to film everyday tasks, record their voice, take photos, and write in their own language. Your work helps teach AI and robots how the real world works.

What you'd do.

Short, paid tasks you can do at home, at work, or around town. Every task comes with a clear written brief.

01Film everyday tasks

Wear a phone mount or smart glasses while you cook, clean, fold laundry, or fix things.

02Record your voice

Read short scripts or have a natural conversation in your language or accent.

03Take photos

Photograph products, food, documents, or objects to a simple checklist.

04Write

Write short texts, translations, or question-and-answer pairs in a language you know well.

How it works.

01Apply

Tell us where you are, what languages you speak, and what equipment you have. It takes two minutes.

02Get a brief

When a project fits you, we send a written brief explaining exactly what to record and what it will be used for.

03Sign and record

You sign a release in your own language, then record. A short trial comes first so you know you're doing it right.

04Get paid

You're paid for every file that passes review, at the rate agreed before you start.

Your rights come first.

You'll always know what you're recording, who it's for, and how it will be used.

  • Nothing is recorded until you've read and signed a release in your own language.
  • The brief explains that the data is used to train AI, and what kinds of companies use it.
  • You can ask questions at any point, and you can say no to any task.
  • We never record children, and we avoid recording people who haven't agreed to it.
  • You're paid fairly by local standards, on time, with records kept.
  • Read more about how we handle consent and data.
